In compliance with principles of equality and transparency CEMarin clarifies the terms of the Call No. 12 of 2018 regarding to application and execution of funds:
- To apply for the grant participants should submit the draft of the thesis project in English.
- The Corporation will not make disbursements within the framework of this Call. Therefore, the beneficiaries of the grant will subscribe a contract with CEMarin and when they require the money for the different items approved they should send the appropriate supports to the Corporation and this will execute the money directly.
- Regarding Modality 1:
3.1. Payments for publications in journals
a. To apply for the grant, applicants should preferably demonstrate that the article has been submitted and accepted for its publication or should demonstrate that the article has already been submitted and that it is under review.
b. In the second of the cases mentioned above, if the article has not been published after twelve (12) months of being benefited with the grant, the resources will not be executed.
c. The final product to deliver for CEMarin will be the published article.
3.2. Payments for open access articles
a. To legalize the execution of the grant, the beneficiary should demonstrate that the publication has been approved and the mean of verification will be the invoice.
b. The final product to deliver for CEMarin will be the published article.
3.3. Payments for translations
a. To legalize the execution of the grant, the beneficiary should demonstrate that the article was translated and the mean of verification will be the invoice.
b. The final product to deliver for CEMarin will be the translated article.
